Workplace Mindfulness

Healing Self-Reflections for Trauma Survivors

Kevin William Grant

Book Overview

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where you are and what you’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around you.

While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it becomes more accessible to us when we practice it on a daily basis.

Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re experiencing through your senses, or to your state of mind through your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful. There is growing research confirming that when you train your brain to be mindful, you’re remodelling the physical structure of your brain and rewiring them to become what you intend.

This book offers a series of self-reflection exercises that will guide you through the process of unlocking the power of your creativity, imagination, spirituality, and intentionality. As you work through these powerful mindfulness exercises you will be taken on a journey of healing and recovery.

The learnings from the first volume in this series, "Recovering from Workplace Trauma" are translated into practical tools and techniques that help trauma survivors transform their lives, heal from their abuse, and achieve calm through inner transformation.
